Time: 4:00 PM PST, 5:00 PM MST, 6:00 PM CST, 7:00 PM EST

About the Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium: The Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium (Big Ten CRC) was created in response to the rapidly evolving landscape of personalized medicine—where identifying the right patients for targeted therapies requires large-scale collaboration.

By uniting cancer centers across Big Ten universities, the consortium advances clinical trials and observational studies designed to improve outcomes for diverse patient populations. Through shared scientific and clinical expertise, Big Ten CRC accelerates the translation of research from idea to treatment and prevention.

Equally important, it fosters a collaborative culture where established investigators mentor the next generation of research leaders—ensuring continued innovation in cancer care.

What You’ll Experience Through this Symposium:

  • Understand how immunotherapy works and what it’s targeting in your cancer
  • Explore why skin cancers behave more aggressively in immunocompromised individuals
  • Learn how to balance effective treatment with quality of life and recovery considerations
  • Understand who may qualify for clinical trials and how to access them
  • Opportunity to ask experts questions about diagnosis, treatment, and side effects
