About Our Nurse
Krista Rubin, MS, FNP-BC, is a Nurse Practitioner at Mass General Cancer Center in Boston, MA. She has been in oncology nursing for 30 years and an advanced practice provider for 20 years. She specializes in caring for patients with melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell skin cancer, and other complex cutaneous malignancies. Her area of expertise includes immunotherapies, targeted therapies, and symptom management. Krista is a passionate advocate of sun safety and prevention efforts.
In her clinical practice, Krista provides care to patients receiving immunotherapies, targeted therapies, and various investigational agents with a special interest in recognizing and managing
immune-related toxicity.
She has consulted, served on numerous planning committees, and has lectured at local, regional, national, and international conferences. She has authored or co-authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals on the various aspects of skin cancer treatment and toxicity management.
Krista currently serves as a panel member for the Society of Immunotherapy in Cancer’s (SITC) Cutaneous Melanoma Immunotherapy Guidelines Committee and Cancer Immunotherapy Guidelines Oversight Committee.
